Privacy, explained clearly.
How AddToDo:Med stores app data and uses iCloud. Effective October 7, 2026.
Information you enter
AddToDo:Med stores the tasks and details you enter: medication schedules and doses, appointments, lab-test notes, procedures, vaccinations, profile names, completion history, photos and PDFs. Some of this information may be health-related or otherwise sensitive.
The app uses local device storage. App settings and saved templates are stored on the device.
Your private iCloud
iCloud synchronization is enabled by default and can be changed in app Settings. When available, the app uses a private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account to sync tasks, history, profiles and attachment contents between your devices. Restart the app after changing this setting.
Apple operates iCloud under its own terms and privacy policy. Disabling synchronization does not itself promise to erase previously synchronized cloud data. Device backups and cloud retention can be affected by your Apple settings.
Permissions and device features
Notification permission is used for local reminders. A notification can contain a task name and type, which may be visible on the Lock Screen according to your system preview settings.
Camera access is requested when taking a photo. The system photo picker supplies the photo you select, and Files supplies the PDF you choose. App lock uses system device authentication; the app does not receive your biometric templates or device passcode.
Analytics and advertising
The app contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDK, and no tracking integration. This website sets no analytics cookies and loads no third-party tracking scripts. It stores only your language preference in browser local storage.
Control and deletion
You can edit or delete tasks, delete history records and remove attachments in the app. Deleting a task also deletes its related history. Archiving retains the task and is not deletion. Cloud changes may need time to sync.
Removing the app may remove local app data, while copies in iCloud or backups may remain according to Apple settings. We cannot promise deletion of every cloud or backup copy solely from uninstalling the app.
Security and family data
Enable app lock and use a device passcode to limit access. Family profile names and health details are entered by the person using the app; a profile is not a separate account or an invitation. Enter other people’s information only when you are entitled to do so.
No storage or transmission system can guarantee absolute security. Review device sharing, notification previews and the destinations you choose when sharing documents.
