Make the app feel right.
Appearance, notifications, app lock and iCloud, with an explanation of what each setting changes.
Appearance and categories
Open Settings. Choose an app theme, system/light/dark appearance and one of four text sizes. Categories let you add your own name, icon and colour for grouping tasks.
Notifications and postponement
Notifications controls whether the app schedules task reminders. The postpone interval is adjustable from 5 to 60 minutes in 5-minute steps. Badge settings control the app badge.
Act without confirmation skips the confirmation form for completion actions. A task can also have its own setting to skip confirmation. Leave confirmation enabled when you want to review the actual time or attach a laboratory result.
Protect access to the app
Enable App lock in Settings. When the app opens or returns from the background, it requests device authentication if supported. Face ID, Touch ID or the device passcode can be used. Biometric templates remain with the system; the app receives an authentication result.
iCloud synchronization
iCloud sync is enabled by default. The app uses your private CloudKit database for tasks, history, profiles and attachment data when iCloud is available. It can fall back to local storage if the cloud store is unavailable.
After changing the iCloud setting, restart the app so it can initialize storage with the new setting. Check the intended Apple Account, iCloud availability and an internet connection on each device.
